Speaker Bio

Ghassan Kosta is a senior leader at Google Cloud who joined the company in 2020 as Regional General Manager for the Cloud Enterprise Business across Qatar, Oman, Bahrain & Iraq Enterprise Sector. His objective is to build the new Google Cloud region in Qatar and help businesses across the Gulf.
As a member of the senior leadership team at Google Cloud in the META region, Ghassan is responsible for driving step-change growth through strategic partnerships and initiatives. In a high-growth environment, he brings strong market experience in managing successful teams and leading great revenue growth. He has successfully launched the Google Cloud business and has taken part in major digital transformation projects for enterprise and public sector entities.


Ghassan has over 20 years of IT experience in the enterprise field, and has held various account management, management, and leadership positions in multinational organizations such as EMC, Dell Technologies, and now at Google.


Ghassan graduated from Notre Dame University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Computer and Communications Engineering. He also holds an executive program certification in Management Excellence from Harvard Business School.
