This exclusive Fusion roundtable, part of the GSMA Open Gateway programme, will bring together senior leaders from airlines, airports, mobile network operators, and technology innovators to explore how standardised network APIs and advanced connectivity are reshaping the passenger experience. From biometric boarding and intelligent baggage management to immersive inflight entertainment and real-time operational insights, we’ll highlight how open, interoperable network capabilities are enabling truly seamless, connected journeys.

Terms of Reference for the GSMA Aviation Roundtable

Purpose
Govern activities of the GSMA Fusion Aviation Community to advance global aviation connectivity, innovation, scalability, and standardisation.

Objectives & Outcomes

  • Support GSMA Fusion – Open Gateway and GSMA Connected Industries.
  • Identify connectivity challenges and innovation barriers in aviation.
  • Engage in GSMA groups, consultations, and workshops.
  • Share best practices and gather enterprise requirements to inform standards.
  • Develop and publish Statements of Requirements.
  • Aim for Joint Statements of Requirements to drive interoperability and standardisation.

Participation
Open to GSMA Members and non-Members with a legitimate aviation interest. Participants must:

  • Act in good faith and support the Forum’s objectives.
  • Comply with GSMA Antitrust Policy and legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of shared information.
  • Accept GSMA AA.35 Procedures for Industry Specifications.
  • Acknowledge GSMA’s right to remove participants at its discretion.
  • Accept that GSMA has no liability for claims related to Forum activities and information.
