Transformative Cities

This is the age of cities - the engines of global wealth, innovation, and carbon emissions. The defining challenges of our time, from global warming to the quest for sustainable prosperity, will be won or lost in cities. At the same time, AI is transforming how we design and govern the systems that sustain urban life, from energy and mobility to housing and health. Yet the deepest impact of technology may be to realign market incentives so that cities function more like adaptive ecosystems: self-correcting, entrepreneurial, and vibrantly alive.
