Session Description

Operators are looking beyond traditional connectivity as new industry services take shape across areas such as security, fraud, AI, digital trust and business services innovation. These propositions are designed to address common industry challenges while opening new growth opportunities across the wider ecosystem.

At MWC Doha, GSMA Services Partnerships is hosting an exclusive Chairman’s Roundtable for senior leaders, providing an early look at selected service propositions currently in development, the operator challenges they are intended to address and the role they could play across the industry.

The session is designed as an interactive discussion focused on practical use cases, real-world operator requirements and the considerations that influence adoption. It also creates space for senior leaders to share perspectives on which problems matter most, what would make the propositions relevant and usable, and where operators may be interested in further validation or pilot activity.

Session Takeaways:

  • Shared understanding of industry priorities: Gain insight into the challenges senior leaders see as most urgent across security, fraud, AI, digital trust and business services innovation.
  • Early view of emerging service propositions: Explore selected propositions in development and consider how they could support operator priorities and future growth opportunities.
  • Practical adoption insights: Discuss the requirements, barriers and decision factors that may influence how these services could be adopted in real-world operator environments.
  • Opportunity to shape future direction: Share perspectives on what would make the propositions relevant, usable and valuable, and where further validation or pilot activity may be useful.

The event is hosted by John Hoffman, Chairman, GSMA, and Marilyn Malpus, Partnerships & Commercial Director, GSMA Services, GSMA. Following the roundtable, guests are welcome to continue the conversation over lunch at Masa Restaurant on the second floor.
