As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at NetoAI, Vignesh Ethiraj spearheads the company’s technical vision and the development of its advanced AI solutions. NetoAI is a pioneering company focused on creating telecom-specific large language models and AI products for the industry. In his role, Vignesh leads a global team of AI experts, guiding the creation of the telecom-specific LLM (TSLAM) and other platforms designed to transform network operations.

Vignesh is a technology leader with deep, hands-on expertise in the telecom domain. For the past several years, his primary focus has been on the practical application of AI and machine learning within the telecom OSS/BSS stack. He is motivated by the challenge of leveraging AI to fundamentally optimise operational efficiency and dramatically improve the end-customer experience. This work is informed by his history as an active contributor to numerous open-source projects in the telecom OSS space.

Before specializing in AI, Vignesh built a comprehensive career developing a wide range of critical network OSS/BSS products. His foundational experience includes building systems for network inventory, large-scale network orchestrators, advanced SDN controllers, and various 5G core components. The breadth of this career, from foundational network architecture to a leadership role in applied AI, gives Vignesh a holistic understanding of the industry's challenges and the opportunities for transformation.
