Ahmed El-Karrany is a seasoned expert with over two decades of multifaceted experience spanning program management, training, consulting, and academic roles across governmental, private, and non-governmental sectors. His career reflects a profound commitment to fostering economic empowerment, advancing Startups and MSMEs, and nurturing entrepreneurship ecosystems on local, national, and international levels.


From his early career in community development and cultural initiatives, Ahmed has built a robust portfolio that includes strategic planning, organizational restructuring, investment readiness, and capacity-building. His tenure at institutions like the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), British Council, and ITIDA showcases his ability to craft innovative solutions that align with sustainable development goals (SDGs), green economies, and social impact.


Currently, as Project Manager of the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator under the UNDP, Ahmed leads transformative initiatives in Egypt and the MENA region, driving sustainable business practices and green growth among startups and SMEs. His expertise encompasses stakeholder engagement, public-private partnerships, and adaptive management frameworks, furthering his impact in entrepreneurship and innovation.


Ahmed's academic contributions as an Adjunct Lecturer of Business and Social Entrepreneurship at ESLSCA University have influenced over 5000 MBA graduates, equipping them with the skills to excel in dynamic business environments. His pedagogical approach intertwines real-world insights with theoretical frameworks, fostering the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.


A certified international trainer, Ahmed specializes in non-formal education techniques, including experiential learning and role-playing. He has facilitated numerous national and international training sessions, empowering individuals and organizations to navigate complex challenges in business, education, and community development.


Throughout his career, Ahmed has held pivotal roles such as Head of Inclusive and Creative Economies at the British Council, National Consultant at ITIDA, and Technical Advisor at UNICEF. His leadership has catalyzed significant advancements in creative economies, social enterprises, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.


Ahmed's academic credentials include a current Doctorate in Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences, a Master's in International Business Administration from ESLSCA University, and a Diploma in NGO Management from Cairo University. His research interests span corporate social responsibility, crisis management, and scenario planning.
