Saher Abudaqar leads SES’s commercial strategy and sales operations across the Middle East and North Africa, playing a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint in one of the world’s most innovation-driven connectivity markets. Since joining Intelsat (now part of SES) in 2015, Saher has held a range of leadership roles spanning customer solutions engineering and regional sales, culminating in his appointment to his current position in 2020.
With over 20 years in satellite communications, Saher combines deep technical and commercial expertise across systems integration, operations, pre-sales, and sales. He has led high-impact projects across MENA, built strong relationships with enterprise and government clients, and developed strategic partnerships. Known for aligning advanced satellite solutions with evolving market needs, his leadership continues to drive SES’s mission to deliver intelligent, flexible, and future-ready connectivity.
Saher holds a degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Engineering at Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
