Mohannad Abuissa is Cisco’s Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Romania, and CIS. With over 27 years of experience in the technology industry and nearly two decades at Cisco, he leads a regional Solutions Engineering organization focused on advancing innovation, AI adoption, and digital resilience.

He drives Cisco’s technology strategy across diverse markets, helping governments, service providers, and enterprises build secure, scalable, and AI-ready infrastructures that accelerate national and organizational transformation.

A recognized thought leader, Mohannad represents Cisco in global forums and executive roundtables, shaping dialogue on AI, cybersecurity, and the future of digital economies. He is a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) and holds a degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School.
