Speaker Bio
Oleksii Sharavar is the CEO of QazCode, part of the international holding VEON. Under his leadership, the company has become one of Kazakhstan’s leading IT integrators, setting standards for digital transformation and technological leadership. Aleksei is responsible for strategic development, international expansion, and the implementation of advanced technologies, including Big Data, IoT, and artificial intelligence.
He places particular focus on developing products based on large language models (LLM), ensuring their security, localization, and adaptation to the needs of businesses and regional markets. In 2024, under Oleksii’s leadership, QazCode participated in creating KazLLM - the first national language model officially presented to the Presidents, marking a significant step toward the country’s digital independence.
Under his guidance, the company has built a comprehensive B2B ecosystem, including business process automation, AI products, and IT outsourcing, enabling QazCode to strengthen its presence in Central Asia and successfully expand into Europe and the Middle East.
Before joining QazCode, Oleksii led the digital transformation at Beeline Kazakhstan for over five years, building one of the strongest in-house IT teams in the telecom sector, implementing proprietary technological solutions, and fostering an innovative corporate culture.
