Speaker Bio
Dana Yousef Al-Abdulla is the Director of Policies Affairs at the National Cyber Security Agency of the State of Qatar. Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Qatar University and a master’s degree from HEC Paris in Strategic Business Unit Management. She holds professional certifications such as GICSP in Industrial Control Systems Security, GCFA in Advanced Forensics Analysis, and GSLC in Cyber Security Leadership.
Dana has made significant contributions to the establishment and operation of the Qatar Computer Emergency Response Team (Q-CERT). With over 18 years of experience, she has developed expertise in different cyber security fields including incident management, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, policies, governance, national cyber strategies and data privacy.
Dana has cultivated her expertise in cyber security data privacy and she is one of the founders of the competent department of privacy law in State of Qatar.
She has led various cyber security and data privacy initiatives and projects on a national level including the development of the National Cyber Security Strategy and the National Information Security Compliance Framework. She has contributed to numerous endeavors aimed at enhancing Qatar’s cybersecurity posture and encouraging youth to pursue careers in the field.
