Marine Babayan is VEON’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, an executive leader with 25 years of global experience across established and emerging markets. Her career spans investment banking, IPOs, and capital markets, as well as corporate affairs, public policy, and reputation management—providing her with a uniquely comprehensive understanding of how companies grow, transform, and earn public trust.
Marine began her professional journey at the International Monetary Fund, where she gained first-hand insight into how financial systems, policy, and governance shape sustainable economic development. Since then, she has built a track record of navigating complexity, driving alignment among diverse stakeholders, and leading organizations through transformation and crisis.
Known for creating clarity amid uncertainty, Marine specializes in building trusted relationships across governments, shareholders, international institutions, and communities.
