Johan is the Head of NW Engineering (fixed & Mobile) for Ooredoo Group based in Qatar and has 25 years’ experience of RAN & Transport planning, network rollout and strategies across markets from Americas, Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia including 2G to 5G.


Current focus areas include developing strategies for FTTH/FWA, 5G standalone, 5G Advanced, OpenRAN, AI-Native RAN and 6G and NTN-D2D strategies.
