I chase the dream of a financially inclusive world. I am on a mission to help the underserved improve their relationship with money and build a safer financial future.
After decade of being EMEA banker, with global brands including Citibank, SNB (formerly Samba financial group) and Dhabi holdings, I decided to tread the uncharted. My experience in Americas, Middle East and Emerging markets helped me craft a financial innovation bridge and connect the dots for the underserved.
My telecom journey started with building the first VAS provider in 1999 and scaling to become the largest transaction authentication platform in Pakistan before being acquired by a Malaysian group in 2004. I have worked with GSMA Open API initiatives like Mobile Connect and now lately as Hemaayah.
My latest startup Hemaayah (Arabic for protection) is protecting the migrant families with a zero cost healthcare insurance embedded in remittances.
