Vivek Rajagopal is the Group Chief Analytics & AI Officer at Narayana Health, one of India's largest healthcare chains, where he also founded and continues to head Medha AI, its Advanced Analytics & AI division. Recognized as a first mover in Healthcare AI, Medha AI, under Vivek's ongoing leadership, empowers healthcare providers with cutting-edge solutions for real-time clinical decision support, operational efficiency, financial control and intelligent automation. With over 17 years of experience overall in data analytics, technology, innovation, and AI, Vivek has been a transformative leader within Narayana Health for over 14 years.
As the leader of Medha AI, Vivek conceived, designed, and developed a real-time, fully automated Data Intelligence system. This initiative evolved into Medha AI, a comprehensive advanced data analytics and AI vertical. The entirely in-house developed platform is now utilized by over 140 healthcare facilities for their data intelligence. While central to Narayana Health's data-driven decision-making, the platform also delivers comprehensive analytics to several external healthcare groups in India and internationally, yielding significant monetary savings and substantial process improvements for its customers.
Prior to focusing on and establishing the analytics division, Vivek joined Narayana Health as Vice President, Strategy & Planning. In this role, he played a pivotal part in the group's strategic expansion, spearheading acquisitions and operational takeovers.
Vivek Rajagopal holds a PGDM from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a B.Tech in Information Technology.
