Aanchal Saxena is a Senior Insights Manager for the ClimateTech programme at the GSMA, where she leads research and strategic insights to unlock the potential of digital and frontier technologies in addressing climate and nature-related challenges, particularly in emerging markets.
With over eight years of experience at the intersection of climate policy, sustainability strategy and innovative finance, Aanchal has worked with global institutions including the University of Oxford, World Economic Forum, IUCN, and Formula 1. Her work has spanned ESG integration, nature-positive transitions, climate-resilient supply chains, and blended finance structures.
Prior to joining the GSMA, Aanchal helped shape multi-stakeholder partnerships involving governments, corporates and investors to align sustainability goals with systemic outcomes. She has worked closely with the SDG Impact Lab, University of Oxford to drive applied research and deepen community impact around the Sustainable Development Goals.
Aanchal holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Oxford and is passionate about making climate innovation both inclusive and scalable across the Global South.
