Francesc Fajula has been the General Director of Mobile World Capital Barcelona since July 2022. Considered one of the pioneers of the digital industry in Spain, Fajula has over twenty years of experience in the sector. His career has spanned corporations such as Terra, Banesto, Grupo Santander, Banc Sabadell, and Dominion Global, where he has been recognized for his ability to drive large-scale innovation projects, accelerate startups, and promote young talent.
He began his professional career as E-Commerce Director at Terra, leading the creation and international expansion of the first online marketplace. As Director of Innovation and Digital Strategy at Grupo Santander, he spearheaded initiatives such as Smartbank, banking apps, and an accelerator in San Francisco (USA) in collaboration with ICEX and Red.es. He later served as Director of Digital Transformation at Banc Sabadell and, prior to joining MWCapital, was General Director of Financial Services at Dominion Global.
