Barcelona and Catalonia are today among Europe’s most dynamic digital ecosystems, home to MWC and 4YFN, with more than 160 international tech hubs, a mature startup landscape, leading research centers, and a strong public–private collaboration model. Qatar is emerging as a strategic innovation hub in the MENA region, with a growing focus on digital transformation, talent, and investment in technology-driven sectors. This session will explore how both regions can act as complementary digital gateways, strengthening connections between Europe, the Mediterranean, and the MENA region through innovation, talent exchange, and shared strategic vision.
