Mansoor Rashid Al Khater is an accomplished executive with more than twenty years of experience in engineering, business, and strategic leadership. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Tunisia since 2019.
Al Khater holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Qatar University, an MBA from the University of Hull, and a master’s degree in emergency and disaster management from Georgetown University.
He began his career at Qatar Petroleum, where he spent eleven years developing strong technical and managerial expertise. In 2009, he joined the Ooredoo Group, taking on increasingly senior roles, including Strategic Director and later Executive Strategic Director. In these capacities, he played a key role in shaping the group’s strategic business plan, introducing new performance-monitoring frameworks, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance operational performance.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Al Khater has served on several governing boards. He has been a board member of Asiacell Iraq and Qatar Academy Al-Wakra, and previously sat on the boards of Arabsat and the Qatar Museums Authority.
His extensive experience, leadership capabilities, and deep understanding of the telecommunications and energy sectors have positioned him as a prominent figure within the Ooredoo Group and a leading executive in the region.
