Session Description
As nations pursue ambitious digital economy goals, they need cohesive strategies to transform the vision into reality, ensuring policies evolve in step with economic priorities. To support governments’ aspirations for digital and AI transformation and respond to surging demand for high-quality connectivity, mobile operators have continued to invest in advanced infrastructure. However, stagnant revenue growth and escalating costs are straining the industry’s long-term financial viability. Modernised policy frameworks, spectrum policy, public private partnerships, cybersecurity to protect critical infrastructure and build trust, and financial incentives are all vital elements to shape digital growth. In this session, the speakers will discuss the relationship between a country’s digital economy vision and policy agenda, and the need for sustainable investment models.
*Priority access will be reserved for Ministerial Programme attendees. Remaining access will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
