Essa Haider

Essa Haider is Chief Technology Officer at Ooredoo Kuwait, leading the company’s technology strategy and the evolution of its telecommunications infrastructure. With around two decades of experience in telecom, he has played a key role in Ooredoo Kuwait’s network transformation, including the deployment of 3G, 4G and 5G/A and the evolution of its radio, IP and transmission networks. 

 

His experience spans network strategy, next-generation connectivity, AI and machine learning, IoT, network analytics and technology-driven customer experience. Prior to becoming CTO, he served as Director of Network Planning and Design, overseeing strategic planning and the nationwide evolution of Ooredoo Kuwait’s radio network. 

 

Essa holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from Gulf University for Science and Technology, and has pursued executive development with leading international business schools including the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, London Business School
