Visa Disclaimer
If you need a visa to enter Qatar, please apply via the Hayya Portal. A visa support letter will not be required. Neither the GSMA nor our registration partner take any responsibility for the issuance of visas for entry into Qatar. It is the responsibility of all attendees to obtain a visa where required and all attendees are advised to allow sufficient time for processing, where applicable, prior to travel to Qatar. GSMA is unable to provide any assistance with attendees’ visa applications. For additional information please see GSMA’s Attendee Terms and Conditions.
GSMA Ltd. LLC is a US-based organisation, and its GSMA Group affiliates are UK, EU and Switzerland based organisations. Accordingly, GSMA Ltd. LLC must comply with all applicable US, UK, EU and Swiss trade sanctions. Those trade sanctions prohibit GSMA Ltd. LLC from issuing a visa invitation letter to delegates from Cuba, Iran and North Korea, as is also the case for delegates who have been designated as sanctioned persons by the US, UK, EU and/or Swiss authorities.

Will trade sanctions affect my ability to attend?
GSMA has to follow US, UK, EU and Swiss trade sanctions rules, which means we can’t admit anyone who’s personally sanctioned or whose company appears on a sanctions list (including the US OFAC list). Even if you already have a visa invitation or pass, we won’t be able to let you in if sanctions apply. If your situation changes before the event, for example, if you or your organisation becomes subject to sanctions, please let us know straight away. In that case we’d need to cancel your registration, and unfortunately any fees already paid can’t be refunded.
Please also be aware that a visa invitation doesn’t override sanctions restrictions. If you or your company are on a sanctions list, we won’t be able to grant access to any GSMA Ltd. LLC event.
If you are unsure whether trade sanctions apply to you or your organisation, please contact us at riskandcompliance@gsma.com.
