Session Description
This session explores the dual transformation underway: how AI is automating network operations, enabling self-optimizing, self-healing, and proactive fault resolution and how the rise of AI-generated traffic is fundamentally changing what networks must deliver. From high-throughput model training workloads to real-time inference at the edge, telecoms and infrastructure providers are now designing "Networks for AI": intelligent, scalable architectures that support ultra-low latency, dynamic bandwidth allocation, and massive data mobility. As AI applications expand beyond terrestrial boundaries, satellite and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) are becoming critical components, extending AI’s reach to remote, underserved, and mobile environments. The cognitive network is no longer just managed by AI, it is being reengineered to serve AI, everywhere from the cloud to the stratosphere.
